My Workhorse is a truly wonderful bike. As you can see in the photo we've got more than one type of workhorse on our farm. The power assist is smooth and quiet and the battery range is amazing. So amazing that tomorrow morning I ride 75 miles to a conference that starts at 10:00 am. I have no doubts about my ability to make it there on time. I'd never ridden a bike with a CVT hub before but am so impressed. I live in the very hilly driftless region of southwestern Wisconsin. The gearing works perfectly for me. Shifting is smooth without any jumping from one gear to the next like the chain and derailleur systems. One of my main reasons for choosing the Workhorse is the belt drive-CVT combo. Winter here is very tough on bikes. They spread sand mixed with salt on the roads. It makes the roads much safer to ride on, but it also very hard on chains and derailleurs. Not having to worry about that is a big plus. Before purchasing my Workhorse I did a lot test rides on many different ebikes. Hands down the Workhorse is the best. Many of the bikes I rode were much more expensive with price tags of $5,000. My only complaint is that the seat is too soft. I prefer a firmer saddle and replaced it by the second week. I've also added one of my homemade wooden fenders and built the cargo box from an old shipping crate. Whether going to the grocery store or taking my chain saw out in the woods this bike is ready to do it all.
